It has been brought to our attention by the ACCC Consumer Product Safety Branch that some labels on our bean bags may have been incorrectly attached, being below other labels, or be missing a warning label attached to the internal liner (if supplied), which is in contravention of the Consumer Goods (Bean Bags) Safety Standard 2014. The warning label is there to inform of the potential danger to small children and should look like this example:

If you have purchased a bean bag from us, or from Foam Home & The Bean Bag Factory during the period from 1st January 2016 to 18th July 2018 that are missing a safety label being visible above other labels or missing a label from the internal liner supplied, we will attach warning lables to make our products comply with Consumer Law, at our cost, for this service. 

​If you wish to let us remedy this fault, it is your right to have it corrected. Please return the bean bag cover and liner (if supplied) without the bean filling, so that we may fix this by attaching the warning labels correctly.

As the world gets bigger and bigger, Santa's job gets harder and harder, and he really needs to take a break on something that looks and feels great. What is not well known is that Santa carries all his gifts in a Bean Bags Australia bean bag cover! Yes, as true as Santa himself, it is a fact that when he has finished his rounds, he stops and fills his sack with snow, zips up the bag and kicks back with a nice brewed eggnog. Of course, in the warmer places, he has to stop at his local bean filling supplier to fill his bag.

Considerations
You need to consider where and how you will be using the bean bag mostly. You also need to take into account any physical restrictions that may impact on enjoying the best experience that bean bags can offer you. While bean bags can easily be "shaped" by hand or sitting in them and adjusting them by moving your body around, the chair will maintain it's profile shape.

Chairs
If you will be using the bean bag as a furniture alternative to chairs, then the chair style is probably going to be the best for you. They are always look neat and are ready to sit in without needing shaping. They blend in and compliment existing furniture, making them great for lounge settings. Their structured shape is also better for those with back or leg problems, as they sit higher off the ground and are easier to get up from.

Hybrid Bean Bags
This clever fusion of the traditional bean bag style with the bean bag chair gives stability to the shape while still providing the unique comfort of the bean bag. It's versatility is its charm, and the classic style comes in a variety of different subtle dimensions, depending on the size, use intended and fabric to be used. Some ratios of height to width, or curve to bulge will work better with different fabrics which is why not all classic bean bag shapes are available in all fabric choices,

Stretch Alternatives
Something to really consider when buying a bean bag is that if you are a small person, then a large size would be fine for you. However, if you are a larger person, then the extra large size would be more suitable and give you a much comfier seating experience. Also, consider getting a bean bag in the stretch technical fabric. This material has a limited stretch that allows the bean bag to balloon a little, making it slightly larger. Be careful when buying a stretch fabric bean bag that the material doesn't stretch too much. If the fabric gives too much, you will be lying on the floor. Thankfully, our stretch material is carefully chosen to work with the design to properly give our bean bags just the right amount of stretch needed.

One of the amazing things about human beings is that we can build straight lines and perfect corners.

Unfortunately, this unique approach to design has been incorrectly applied into our furniture. We do like those straight, sharp cornered couches and chairs - but at a cost when we fail to consider that our bodies are just not built like that. The end result is that we slump in our seats and our backs ache. It would seem that we cannot fit into corners very well at all.
